PESA, a leading designer and manufacturer of streaming and enterprise routingsolutions, today announced a new partnership with VideoLink, which provides live streaming and video production services to clients across Canada.

Headquartered in Toronto, VideoLink will incorporate PESA Xstream streaming appliances and the PESA Live streaming app into solutions for its broadcast, sports, education, corporate, government, worship, and live event clients.

“As soon as I saw PESA’s streaming products and the amazing PESA Live, I knew I had to add them to my product line,” said Bruce Richardson, VideoLink CEO and founder. “With Canada being bilingual, there’s always a requirement to produce French and English streams from the same live source. Because it’s a dual encoder with rich I/O, PESA’s C22 is an elegant and affordable solution to this challenge.”

“In Canada, VideoLink is synonymous with video streaming,” said John Naylor, PESA vice president of global sales and distribution, streaming products. “We are thrilled to be teaming up with VideoLink and look forward to helping them take their streaming video workflows to the next level.”

The compact PESA XSTREAM C22 allows up to two video and two stereo audio input sources to be combined, synchronized, and mixed in real time with no timing or latency issues. With a variety of connectivity options and support for numerous video formats, the C22 can create two HD streams and distribute them to separate CDNs, if necessary. An integrated Web server allows full remote control, so no personnel are required on site for streaming content to another facility.
