Bell Media Announces Comprehensive Coverage of TIFF

As Hollywood's biggest stars arrive, Bell Media shines the spotlight on the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. Anchoring the company's extensive coverage is Canada's most-watched entertainment program ETALK, presenting the best access to the stars as the official Red Carpet Media Sponsor at Roy Thomson Hall. The ETALK Red Carpet will stream live through the ETALK at TIFF website CTV.ca/TIFF2012. Bell Media is also represented by the pulse of pop culture as E! makes its debut at this year's Festival with its very own E! Red Carpet at the Princess of Wales Theatre, which will also stream live at eonline.ca. Canada's national science fiction, horror and fantasy channel SPACE is also sponsoring the film-fanatic favourite Midnight Madness program located at Ryerson Theatre, showcasing the best in action, horror, shock and fantasy cinema. Rounding out the coverage, CTV news properties CTV Toronto, Canada AM, CTV News Channel, and CP24, along with MTV's Movie Night, CHUM FM, Flow 93-5 and Sympatico.ca, bring a heavy Festival presence offering live complete coverage throughout the entire Festival.

TALK at the Festival

Throughout the 10-day Festival, ETALK anchors Ben Mulroney and Tanya Kim, as well as reporters Lainey, Danielle McGimsie, Traci Melchor, and Jessi Cruickshank, report from various celebrity hotspots across Toronto, including the star-packed ETALK lounge at the Intercontinental Hotel and center of it all, the TIFF Bell Lightbox. All the red carpet highlights of ETALK's comprehensive Festival coverage will be available to viewers nightly on ETALK at 7 p.m. ET on CTV and 6 p.m. ET on E! beginning Thursday, Sept. 6. Viewers can also catch up on highlights of ETALK following the television broadcast on CTV's digital platforms, including CTV.ca and Sympatico.ca.

Kicking off ETALK's exclusive and extensive coverage is the red-hot fashion special ETALK Fashion Fix: TIFF 2024 Preview, premiering Thursday, Sept 6 at 1 p.m. ET on CTV. ETALK anchor Tanya Kim is joined by a panel of style savvy personalities to discuss past celebrity fashions from the best and worst dressed on the TIFF red carpet.

Throughout the Festival, ETALK's dedicated TIFF website CTV.ca/TIFF2012 offers fans access to exclusive ETALK video content and photo galleries, in addition to film and party updates, celebrity interviews, star sightings, and more. ETALK will also be tweeting Festival news from @etalkCTV with the hashtag #etalkTIFF12.

During the Festival, ETALK is positioned in the heart of the action at the gala film headquarters of Roy Thomson Hall, where ETALK will produce a live red carpet show for the Festival from their coveted prime spot on the gala red carpets, delivering interviews with Hollywood's elite, live to fans inside the theatre as well as online. hen, following the glitz and glamour from this year's hottest parties and premieres, ETALK reflects and dissects this year's fashion hits and misses at this year's Festival with the half-hour recap special FASHION FIX: TIFF 2024 (to be scheduled) on CTV.

E! at the Festival

E! host Leah Miller makes her Festival debut on all the most-buzzed about red carpets, including the specially designed E! red carpet at the Princess of Wales Theatre. Delivering extensive coverage, Leah will get up-close-and personal access to mega-watt stars for up-to-the-minute Canadian E! NEWS updates, airing daily on E! beginning Sept. 7. E!'s coverage will also stream live from the Princess of Wales Theatre on eonline.ca.  Additionally at the Princess of Wales Theatre, fans will have the opportunity to feel like they are part of the red carpet action by getting the chance to pose on a separate E! red carpet and get their pictures taken with life-size cut-outs of LIVE FROM THE RED CARPET hosts Ryan Seacrest and Guiliana Rancic.

SPACE at the Festival

SPACE has genre covered at the Festival this year, including the highly-anticipated opening night sci-fi action movie Looper. INNERSPACE co-hosts Ajay Fry, Cynthia Loyst and Teddy Wilson deliver Festival coverage for SPACE viewers, hitting up red carpets and going one-on-one with stars from the hottest films coming to the Festival. Once again, SPACE is sponsoring the Midnight Madness program, which showcases the best in action, horror, shock and fantasy cinema - all airing, of course, at midnight. Featured titles include The Lords of Salem from Rob Zombie, Dredd 3D starring Karl Urban, and Seven Psychopaths featuring Colin Farrell and Christopher Walken.

MTV MOVIE NIGHT at the Festival

MTV's Movie Night host Johnny Hockin and correspondent Josh Horowitz gives viewers the inside scoop on everything at the Festival. Movie Night catches up with Ryan Gosling to discuss his upcoming drama A Place Beyond the Pines and hangs with Snoop Dogg to chat about the premiere of his documentary Reincarnated. From Kristen Stewart to Rob Zombie, Andy Samberg to Colin Farrell, Movie  Night has the Festival covered. An original production, Movie Night airs Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. ET.

CTV NEWS at the Festival

As the stars invade Toronto, Bell Media's news properties are present every step of the way. From the first red carpet until the final curtain call, CTV Toronto's Andria Case, Michelle Dube, and Ashley Rowe cover the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival® with Toronto's complete coverage of stars, fans, and films. CTV Toronto's coverage airs daily at Noon, 6 p.m. ET, and 11:30 p.m. ET.

Meanwhile, CANADA AM's Marci Ien wakes up viewers with special Festival coverage on Monday, Sept. 10 from Toronto's Ritz Carleton Hotel. On the red carpet and putting stars and film directors in the hot seat, CTV News Channel's Direct and Express go one-on-one with films that are getting a boost in buzz at the Festival.

Toronto's Breaking News Station will also become Toronto's 2024 Toronto International Film Festival® station leading up to and throughout the Festival as CP24 offers live coverage of red carpets, news conferences, Toronto celebrity sightings, and the city's hot spots. CP24.com asks viewers to send in their pictures of star sightings for a photo gallery and will be tweeting all the latest Festival info from @CP24 with the hashtag #CP24TIFF.

Bell Media Radio

Don't forget about all of the picketers that will be attending as well since bell illegally locked out all their unionized belltv employees and refuses to do any negotiations of any kind and continues to bully its small group of employees with phony lawsuits
