For those of us who have so much time and energy invested in radio, it is time to take stock of the new numbers released today. This PPM radio ratings release from Numeris (formerly BBM) completes the thirteen week period covering Dec. 1st to March 1st, 2024. . Let’s take a look the five PPM markets.
Toronto: Bragging rights at the top of the ratings heap go to CHFI-FM with a 13.6% share of hours tuned for A12+ (up from 13.0% last time out). CHFI-FM got a bump from their All –Christmas Music format in December. CHFI-FM takes the #1 spot with the ladies 25-54 delivering a 20.7% share (up from 20.6%) followed by CHUM-FM delivering a 19.7% share (up from 17.3%). Q107 holds the #1 spot for males 25-54, posting a 9.8% share (down from 11.0% in the last 13 week book). CHFI-FM leads the way for M18-34 with a 13.5% share. For F18-34, CHFI-FM tops the list posting a 24.0% share (up from 23.9%).
Vancouver: Radio One grabs the #1 spot for A12+ with a 14.1% share of hours tuned (up from 12.5% last time out). Taking the top spot for F25-54 was QMFM, posting a 13.8% share (up from 13.5% last time out). Rock101 holds the lead for M25-54 listeners, delivering a 10.5% share (up from 9.3%). The FOX is out in front for M18-34 with an 18.1% share of hrs. tuned (up from 16.8%). When it comes to Females 18-34, QM-FM takes top spot with a 13.6% share.
Edmonton: 102.3 NOW Radio rules the roost for A12+ posting an 11.2% share of hours tuned (down from 12.8%). NOW! Radio takes top spot for F25-54, delivering a 14.5% share (down from 16.0%). NOW also tops the list for M25-54 with a 15.5% share (down from 19.5%). For M18-34, NOW! posted a 17.9% (down from 25.8%).
Calgary: Country 105 leads the way for A12+ with a 10.4% share (down from 10.8%). KISS 95.9 is popular with the ladies, taking #1 spot for F25-54 delivering a 15.4% share (up from 12.6%). For M25-54, XL103 is #1 with an 11.7% (up from 10.5%). Country 105 takes top spot for M18-34 delivering a 14.7% share followed by CJAY92 at 13.0%. Country 105 is #1 for F18-34 posting a 28.6% share (up from 23.1%).
Montreal (Total): CHMP 98.5FM is #1 for A12+ with a 16.8% share (down from 18.0%). CFGL-FM 105.7 Rythme FM is tops with the ladies, taking #1 spot for F25-54 delivering a 16.8% share (down from 19.4 %). For M25-54, CHMP 98.5FM leads the way with a 15.5% share (down from 17.4%). The Beat 92.5 is #1 for M18-34 with a 13.8% share (down from 14.4%).
