With the retirement of radio industry veteran Bob Bratina, the programming changes will now focus on providing comprehensive and timely news coverage around the clock by offering continuous information packages featuring news, weather, traffic and sports.

The morning show moves to a news wheel and will be led by Senior News Anchor Paul Tipple who will be joined by co-news anchor Shiona Thompson. Rounding out the morning team is Sports Director Rick Zamperin and Jay McQueen as Weather Specialist. Traffic and weather updates will be broadcast every 10 minutes on the 9’s.

The Scott Thompson Show moves to middays in the 12 noon to 3 p.m. time slot followed by the afternoon drive led by news anchor Ted Michaels from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sports announcer Matt Holmes joins Michaels in afternoon drive.

The nationally syndicated program, Charles Adler, moves into the evening time slot from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. followed by The Jim Rome Show from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.

“This is an exciting time for AM900 CHML as these changes will give us an opportunity to gain new listeners while serving our long-time loyal audience with the news coverage they come to expect from us,” said Jeff Storey, Program Director, AM900 CHML. “CHML will be a more fast-paced news oriented radio station that will continue to focus on local issues.”
