Chairman of the board Mr. André Larin today announced that Zone3 has created three major divisions to pursue its various activities. At the same time, he announced the following appointments:
Brigitte Lemonde takes on the role of president of Zone3 Creative and Production
Luc Benoit takes on the role of president of Zone3 Financial
François-Charles Sirois takes on the role of chief executive officer of Zone3 Corporation
Creative is first and foremost about talent. By bringing all of the organization’s creators and producers together within a single division, Zone3 intends to enhance its impact and creativity. With responsibility for all of the group’s production and creative activities in Quebec, the team is fully dedicated and committed to being the most successful on the market.
One of Zone3’s major strengths is its ability to manage and implement financial structures needed to carry out content and production projects. Zone3 Financial will leverage this expertise and develop various partnerships with key players in the field. The division includes production financing, administrative management, technical services, legal services, IT services, rights management and distribution.
Zone3 Corporation’s mission is to develop international projects and strategic partnerships. Content consumption is growing rapidly around the world, and over the next few years, one of the company’s goals will be to raise Zone3’s profile outside of Quebec.
These three divisions will be overseen by Zone3 Inc.’s board of directors. The companies Cinémaginaire (Denise Robert) and Ad Lib (Lorraine Richard), which are also part of the group, will maintain their autonomy.
“Zone3’s growth and ambition required a new division of operations,” said Larin. “I am confident that this restructuring and the appointments we have made will enable the company to maintain its momentum and further develop its strategic partnerships with content distributors. I would also like to make a special mention of the active involvement of our shareholders Telesystem and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec for the support they have given Zone3 since its creation.”
