Bell Media congratulates production partners Epitome Pictures and Take 5 Productions on nominations for the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards. MuchMusic’s DeGrassi received its second consecutive nomination for Outstanding Children’s Program while Season 2 of Bravo’s The Borgias received four nods for Outstanding Costumes For A Series, Outstanding Hairstyling For A Single-Camera Series (including Canadian Tahira Herold), Outstanding Music Composition For A Series (Original Dramatic Score) by Canadian Trevor Morris, and Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Supporting Role (including Canadians Doug Campbell, Bill Halliday, Luke Groves, Kirk Brillon, Steve Ramone Gordon, Jim Maxwell, Irit Hod, Tim Sibley, and Adam Jewett). The 63rd Annual Primt Time Emmy Awards air live, Monday, September 23, exclusively on CTV.

DeGrassi, which premiered its 12th season earlier this week on MuchMusic, has new episodes airing Monday - Thursday at 10 p.m. ET all summer long. The DeGrassi franchise, which previously won two International Emmy Awards (1986 & 1987), is produced by Toronto’s Epitome Pictures in association with MuchMusic and TeenNick.
Bravo’s hit series The Borgias is produced by Take 5 Productions and Octagon Films in association with Bravo and Showtime Networks. Last year, the series received six nominations and won an Emmy for Outstanding Costumes For A Series.
DeGrassi is produced by Epitome Pictures (The L.A. Comples, Instant Star) in association with MuchMusic/CTV. The series was co-created by Linda Schuyler, co-producer of the original DeGrassi series and Yan Moore. Schuyler and Stephen Stohn serve as Executive Producers. Sarah Glinski executive produces.
