CTV Unveils Coverage of Golden Globe Awards

  • The 2024 award season officially kicks off with The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Airing live across the country Sunday, Jan. 13  on CTV , the star-studded event celebrates the best in television and film as hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler rub shoulders with Hollywood’s elite.

    Leading up to the big event, CTV Two and E! deliver all the red carpet glamour, including the A-list arrivals, fashion hits and misses, and interviews with the night’s most sought-after stars. Entertainment destination E! kicks the evening off   with Countdown to the Red Carpet: The 2024 Golden Globe Awards, followed by Live from the Red Carpet.  Then it’s the official red carpet special as The Golden Globe Arrivals Special airs on CTV Two and CTV in select markets.  e night wraps up with the E! After Party. 

    As recently announced, celebrity presenters at this year’s most celebrated dinner party include Smash’s Debra Messing, and Castle’s Nathan Fillion, along with George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Kerry Washington, Jason Statham, Jennifer Lopez, Kristen Wiig, Jeremy Renner, Amanda Seyfried, and Will Ferrell. Plus, Academy Award®-winning actress Jodie Foster will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her outstanding contribution to the entertainment industry.

    CTV’s ETALK brings viewers exclusive Golden Globe access as the only Canadian outlet with an exclusive platform position on the red carpet, as well as a dedicated lounge backstage for one-on-one interviews. ETALK anchor Ben Mulroney has the red carpet covered, while E!’s Leah Miller is backstage in the exclusive ETALK lounge with the hottest stars just moments after their big win. ETALK’s L.A. correspondent Jessi Cruickshank will cover the post-show party circuit, and dishes about the best celebrity style, from the fashion faux pas to the best dressed of the night.
