Corus Média announced today that it has appointed Brigitte Vincent to the position of vice president, programming, for its Historia and Séries+ channels.
Vincent, who has over 25 years of experience in the television industry, had been Historia and Séries+’s director of original productions and Canadian acquisitions since 2024. She previously made a name for herself in the area of public affairs shows and as a producer of various magazine shows and documentaries for a number of general and specialty channels.
“There’s no question that with her extensive experience, adaptability and understanding of the current and future issues in our industry, Brigitte will drive the continued development of our channels and take them to the next level,” said Mario Cecchini, president of Corus Media. “She will also assume responsibility for strategic management and relationships with stakeholders in the sector, who are partners in our growth and will help us fulfill the potential of the Historia and Séries+ channels.”
To support her in her new duties, Vincent has appointed Catherine Vidal to the position of director, original productions and Canadian acquisitions. Vidal has worked in the television field for over 15 years, most notably as a producer for production company Baroque, which she co-founded.
