Returning for a second year in a row, LA host of etalk on CTV and host of CBC's Canada's Smartest Person, Jessi Cruickshank will entertain attendees and viewers through the sought-after industry celebration, where 35 JUNO Awards, the Walt Grealis Special Achievement Award and the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award will be presented.

Taking place at the Telus Calgary Convention Centre, this year's Gala will feature performances by 2024 JUNO Award nominees Afiara Quartet & Skratch Bastid (Instrumental Album of the Year), Fortunate Ones (Contemporary Roots Album of the Year), SonReal (Rap Recording of the Year, Video of the Year), Young Empires (Breakthrough Group of the Year), as well as Jazz All-Stars Performers Al Muirhead, Allison Au, Jerry Granelli, Kodi Hutchinson, Mark Kelso, Rich Brown, Robi Botos, and Tommy Banks. The 2024 special award recipients include Arcade Fire, who will receive the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award sponsored by Bell Media, and trail-blazing music director and radio executive, Rosalie Trombley, recipient of the Walt Grealis Special Achievement Award.

During the Gala, JUNO TV will be hosting a backstage live stream lounge, courtesy of funding partner the Ontario Media Development Corporation, with YouTuber Sam Sutherland. All of the newly crowned 2024 JUNO Award winners of the evening will sit down with Sam to chat about their big win only on junotv.ca.
