The Fremantle Corporation is pleased to announce that it has acquired international distribution rights for the celebrity and influencer driven documentary Behind the Red Carpet. The documentary provides an uncensored view of what really happens behind the scenes during the Toronto International Film Festival.

Behind the Red Carpet introduces us to the movers, shakers and key players behind all the happenings and craziness of one of the biggest film festivals in the world. We follow five lead characters who are the top in their field including Toronto/New York based publicist Natasha Koifman, a foremost journalist, Chris Jancelewicz, Casie Stewart, world famous blogger, George Pimentel, Canada's most renowned celebrity photographer as well as Pierre Jutras, venue operator and President of The Spoke Club. These key players are thrown into the fire as they try their very best to appease the biggest and brightest stars from around the globe. Sometimes the biggest egos and personalities are on the other side of the carpet.
Produced by Barking Frog Productions and Mountain Goat Film Company, this documentary, available as either a 90 minute feature or a one hour special, exposes the biggest events with the hottest stars including Julia Roberts, Nicholas Cage, Mila Kunis, Maria Bello, Moran Atias, Colin Firth, Paul Haggis, Adrien Brody, Michael Bolton, Caitlin Cronenberg, Mekhi Phifer to name a few. Behind the Red Carpet provides an insight into the challenges of talent handling and scheduling, party planning, press junkets, the process of interviews as well as captures that "one shot".
