The Canada Media Fund reminds all applicants that it is migrating its application process for its programs to the online service eTelefilm as of Monday, September 30th, 2024. As of this date, the CMF will no longer accept hardcopy (paper) applications.
The CMF invites all applicants who do not have an eTelefilm account to register. Once they have submitted a registration request, applicants will receive an activation link by email and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) by mail within five business days. This information will allow the applicant to open a permanent account that can then be used by the same applicant for any number of applications they submit thereafter.
eTelefim is a simple and secure website that provides applicants with updated information about the status of their application and is available seven days a week from 6 a.m. until 12 a.m. ET.
Please note that CMF supporting documents, helpful tools and Phase II/Final Cost reporting will continue to be available through the CMF website under Funding Programs.
