Blue Ant Media Appoints Executive VP Marketing & Communications

  • Blue Ant Media announces the appointment of Jamie Schouela to Executive Vice President, Marketing and Communications. Jamie comes to Blue Ant with over 15 years of marketing experience in the media industry.

    Jamie comes from Shaw Media where he most recently served as VP, Marketing overseeing all marketing and communications activity for Global Television and the 19 specialty channels including their affiliated websites, apps, and social media activity. Prior to that he spent 5 years leading marketing for Global Television including top 10 hits Glee, House, and Survivor as well as Global National news. He has won both Promax and Canadian Marketing Association awards for his marketing campaigns as well as set a Guinness World Record for a stunt promoting hit series 24.

    His experience and insight will be an asset to Blue Ant Media and will bode well for its eight growing brands – Cottage Life, Travel+Escape, Bite TV, AUX TV and premium commercial-free channels Oasis HD, HIFI, eqhd and radX. Jamie will oversee all marketing and communications initiatives for Blue Ant Media.

    Jamie joins the Blue Ant Media team on Monday, June 10thand will be working out of the company’s head office in Toronto.
