Blue Ant Media and Mondo Media Announce Deal with Corus for New Primetime Animated Series

  • Blue Ant Media and Mondo Media announce a deal with Corus Entertainment to broadcast a new primetime animated comedy series. The licensed content is a compilation of 26’ x 30’ HD comedy shorts from the Bite On Mondo program. Blue Ant together with Mondo Mediaand YouTube launched Bite On Mondo last fall to discover, foster and produce breakout-animated content. Corus Entertainment’s TELETOON will air Bite On Mondo on the channel’s primetime programming block TELETOON at Night in 2024.

    Since launching, the Bite On Mondo initiativehas received over 500 pitch submissions. The program uses YouTube to test popularity of animated content and measure feedback for scaling into packaged shorts and longer formats. To date,the programhas developed 25 original animated pilots including World Doctors and Don’t Feed the Humans. Blue Ant will be representing Bite On Mondo content at MIPCOM next week for international distribution.
