Budweiser announced that it has signed a multi-year partnership with Hockey Night in Canada's Coach's Corner, hosted by Ron MacLean and Don Cherry. The deal will feature Budweiser advertising and content during every Coach's Corner segment.

"Coach's Corner is a central part of the hockey experience for Canadian fans and Budweiser is proud to support every check, shot, hit and goal analyzed by Ron and Don," said Jorn Socquet, Vice President of Marketing, Labatt Breweries of Canada. "Budweiser is thrilled to be a part of the Hockey Night in Canada family. Beginning January 19, fans can expect innovative Budweiser advertising on Coach's Corner - we'll be getting fans involved along the ways so stay tuned!"

"We're pleased to welcome Budweiser to CBC's Hockey Night in Canada," said Alan Dark, general manager, CBC Revenue Group. "Budweiser has built a great connection with hockey fans across Canada, and having them as part of Hockey Night is a natural fit. We're looking forward to a very successful relationship."

Partnering with Coach's Corner is part of Budweiser's goal to make hockey more fun, exciting and accessible for Canadians. In addition to Coach's Corner, Budweiser is the presenting sponsor for the new Hockey Night in Canada Second Screen experience, the Out of Town Scores and highlights of the best goals from around the league with Goal Tonight. Budweiser will also continue to execute national and regional hockey programs that resonate with Canadian hockey fans from coast-to-coast.

A multi-year partnership? I don't think so! CBC is going to lose the NHL at the end of next season and that'll be it.
