Corus Entertainment’s CMT (Canada) presents The Drop, a brand new multi-platform music series that will give fans exclusive first-hand access to new music from the best acts in country music today. Featured across CMT, CMT.ca and Corus Country Radio, The Drop will debut with new music from 22-time CCMA Award winner Gord Bamford before his new album is released on April 8.
Starting Monday, April 1, CMT.ca will be the only destination to stream Gord Bamford’s new album Tin Roof in advance of its release. The experience continues across Corus Country Radio stations (Country 104, Country 105 and CISN) as each station will feature new tracks off the album throughout the week giving listeners a preview to Bamford’s new music. Then on Thursday, April 7, CMT will air The Drop music special. Filmed in front of a live audience at London, Ontario’s iconic Aeolian Town Hall, the half-hour event will showcase Bamford as he performs new music from Tin Roof for the first-time in front of an intimate audience.
