CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions is pleased to announce the addition of Errol Da-Ré to its Olympic Games Sales efforts as the Head of the Olympic Games Sales Team. On the heels of last week’s CBC/Radio-Canada announcement revealing that the network has secured corporate partners for its coverage of the Rio 2024 Olympic Games (Bell Canada, BMW, Canadian Tire, McDonald’s, Mondelez, Petro-Canada, RBC, Samsung, SportChek and VISA), Da-Ré will undoubtedly bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and relationships with him that will help CBC/Radio-Canada on the road to Rio.
A well-respected media professional, Da-Ré had previously worked for Shaw Media as the EVP/SVP of sales, responsible for all aspects of the strategy and revenue growth.
“We are extremely pleased to have Errol join our team to bolster our great start on the Road to Rio,” said Jim Kozak, Senior Director, Marketing and Olympic Games. “Errol brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership and sales strategy from his various past roles in the media industry along with his ability to build partnerships. There is no doubt that he will be a valued member of our team for CBC/Radio-Canada’s coverage of Rio 2024 as we continue to bring on sponsors and facilitate participation sales.”
Da-Ré’s appointment was effective as of Tuesday, Feb. 9. Working out of the Toronto office and reporting to Kozak, Da-Ré supports the Olympic Games sales team and its efforts. In his role as CBC/Radio-Canada’s Head of Olympic Games Sales Team for the network’s coverage of Rio 2024, he will work closely with interested corporate partners, negotiating and bringing on board exciting sponsorship and participation sales opportunities.
