    SALES SESSION
      
    Matt Mise and Peter Farfaras will open the Sales Session discussing Digital Sales.  The core of the Sales Session will feature RAB training, “The New Breed of Salesperson” with SVP, Professional Development, Jeff Schmidt.  Closing the morning is the ever popular Advertiser Panel, moderated by John Perras, General Sales Manager, INDIE 88, featuring:  Teresa Coulter, Group Director Broadcast, OMD Toronto; Pat Finelli, Chief Marketing Officer, Pizza Pizza; and Mike McCurlie, President & Creative Director, MJM Media.
    All attending the Sales Session will walk away with a certificate from OAB & Radio Advertising Bureau.
    FULL CONFERENCE
     
    Opening the conference is Duncan Stewart, Director of Technology, Media and Telecommunications Research for Deloitte Canada.  He will offer a sneak peek at Deloitte’s 2024 topics of special interest and relevance for the Canadian broadcast industry.  
     
    The morning will continue with discussions on Broadcasters’ Digital Advantage with Daniel Anstandig, CEO, Futuri, followed by a Digital Panel moderated by Chris Byrnes and featuring Daniel Anstandig, Chris Nimigon, President, Media Lab and Jennifer Williams, Director of Interactive Marketing, Greater Media Inc., Detroit.
    The Gala Award Luncheon will feature presentations for Broadcast Order of Achievement, Community Service Awards, Station Promotion Awards and Ontario Hall of Fame Awards.  The 2024 Ontario Hall of Fame Award will be presented to both Richard Costley-White and Chuck McCoy for their leadership and commitment to the highest standards of broadcast excellence and community service.
    After lunch, the conference will continue with Performance Thinking:  Controlling Mindset to Optimize Performance with Dr. Jacques Dallaire
    Everyone wants to know more about Millenials.  What media do they use?  How do you reach them?  Jeff Vidler’s session De-Mystifying Millenials will provide insight into the media habits of this highly desired group.
    The OAB’s traditional closing session of the day will feature the top industry executives providing their views on broadcasting in 2024 and beyond. No clichés…just real answers.
    Moderated by Paul Larche, President and CEO of Larche Communications Inc., panelists include: Julie Adam, Senior Vice President, Rogers Radio; Doug Bingley, President, Central Ontario Broadcasters; Sarah Garvie, Executive Director, Radio Connect; Ian Lurie, Chief Operating Officer, Newcap Radio; and Troy Reeb, SVP, News, Radio & Station Operations, Corus Entertainment.
