The CRTC confirmed that on 21 October 2024, the Broadcasting Arbitrator released a decision and an order with respect to the 2024 Re-Allocation of Paid Time. This decision, made pursuant to section 340(1) of the Canada Elections Act (the Act), replaces the 2024 Allocation of Paid Time made on 13 July 2024.
The Commission is required, pursuant to section 342(1) of the Act, to notify broadcasters and network operators of such allocations.
