Pro-Bel Acquires Vistek

Pro-Bel, the premier manufacturer and supplier of routing switchers, signal processing, master control, automation and workflow technologies, announced today the acquisition of Vistek Electronics Limited. Vistek is a privately owned company, based in the UK, and a global supplier of interface products to the broadcast media industry.

�We believe the integration of Vistek�s complementary product line into the well established Pro-Bel range will benefit our customers,� Graham Pitman, CEO, Pro-Bel Group explained. He continued, �Not only are both companies at the forefront of the HD transition, but jointly we have technology that provides improved digital media workflow for the Broadcast/IT crossover and addresses our customers need to reduce costs.�

Vistek celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025 and Pro-Bel has been in business since 1977. Both companies have been experiencing considerable growth driven by increased market share. �The merger will significantly expand Pro-Bel�s offering to the global broadcast market and will also extend our reach into the cable and satellite market,� Pitman said, adding, �Clearly, the combination of Vistek and Pro-Bel creates a more powerful entity. It is good news for our customers and good news for our employees. Pro-Bel will be more able to meet the needs of customers and will have more resources to invest in developing new technology.�
