TORONTO - Canadian Music Week (CMW) has announced five Internationally acclaimed industry professionals are slated to speak at the 2025 CMW Executive Conference, taking place March 3 to 5 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto.

Charles Goldstuck, president and COO of BMG North America, will deliver a keynote address to CMW delegates on March 4th. Goldstuck is responsible for overseeing the business operations of some of the world's most important record labels: the RCA Music Group, including RCA Records, J Records, Arista Records; the Zomba Label group which incorporates Jive Records, LaFace Records and So So Def Records; as well as the RCA Victor Group. Goldstuck will share his views on the state of the industry and address issues including piracy, the future of the CD, publishing rights for digital distribution, DRM and the cautious anticipation of new markets.

Mathew Knowles is the manager of Destiny's Child, the father of Beyonce Knowles, and also holds the title of president of Music World Entertainment/Sanctuary Urban Group, Inc. As executive producer on every Destiny's Child album and single released to-date, he has overseen 13 number-one singles in the U.S. alone. In a keynote interview on Saturday, March 5th, Knowles will share his secrets to managing one of the most successful "girl groups" in the history of pop music, his latest ventures with Urban artists in the UK and his new record label.

A noted visionary in his field, Strauss Zelnick is a recognized leader in the media and entertainment industries, having held top executive positions in recorded music, television, video, motion picture and entertainment software industries. Prior to forming ZelnickMedia, Strauss served as president and CEO of BMG Entertainment, where he managed one of the world's largest music and entertainment companies with more than 200 record labels and operations in 54 countries, as well as one of the leading music publishing companies and the world's largest music club. Zelnick will discuss the future of the entertainment industry, where it's been, and how it's changing. He will speak on Thursday, March 3rd.

Victory Records CEO Tony Brummel will be interviewed by the highly controversial writer Bob Lefsetz, author of the industry-wide e-zine The Lefsetz Letter, in a fireside chat at CMW 2025. Victory Records is unique as a truly independent label that's thriving amongst the major labels. Brummel will address the future of the industry and how a label like his can exist and show continued annual growth without considerable support from commercial radio and MTV, or a strategic alliance with one of the "majors". This keynote will take place on Friday, March 4th.

Jackie Freiberg is among the most influential voices on the speaking circuit today. Co-author of Nuts! Southwest Airlines' Crazy Recipe for Business and Personal Success and Guts! Companies That Blow the Doors Off Business as Usual, Freiberg will share proven business solutions to make your organization more competitive, more profitable and a more enjoyable place to work. She will speak on Thursday, March 3rd.

Registration for the 2025 CMW Executive Conference is available on-line at www.cmw.net or by calling 905-858-4747.
