Sundance Digital has several new awards to hang on the walls of the Company's new 10,000 sq. ft headquarters. The Dallas area provider of high-performance television automation solutions received recognition from several sources for its superior technology at NAB 2024, including an Award for innovation in Media from the National Association of Broadcasters, a Top Innovation Award, and a record-breaking three Gold Level Excellence Awards.

"We couldn't be happier to be recognized by such diverse and distinguished organizations," said Robert C. Johnson, Sundance Digital's president. "We are honored to have our projects and products acknowledged by respected industry publications and their readers, as well as by the NAB convention attendees."

AIM winners were selected by NAB visitors casting ballots for technological innovations that best addressed current and upcoming issues in the electronic media industry. Products had to meet specific criteria including additional efficiency, increased user flexibility and creativity, and lower costs. Sundance Digital's NewsLink(tm) - a highly efficient automation and playout control system for digital news operations - was given the nod in the Content Delivery category.

NewsLink enhances production flexibility by linking all devices in the newsroom, including the video server, editors, and graphic devices - new or legacy - along with switchers, audio mixers, and robotic cameras into the ENPS or iNEWS environment using intuitive, quick-to-operate, task-specific applications. The scalable system permits news directors to choose the right level of automation on a show-by-show basis and provides a comprehensive toolset to manage daily operations, including auto creation of Placeholder IDs, AutoArchive and AutoPurge, along with options to automate ingest and manage content.

Sundance Digital's technology demonstration of bi-directional communication between automation and traffic interface was honored by the editors of Digital TV / Television Broadcast with a Top Innovation award. Consistent with the Company's track record of providing trail-blazing solutions, Sundance took a giant step into the future at NAB 2024 by implementing tighter-than-ever integration and messaging between traffic and automation, resulting in unprecedented workflow efficiency that would benefit commercial, cable and PBS stations.
