AZCAR appoints J. W. (Bill) Crowther, CA – Chief Operating Officerby -- Azcar Technologies INc. Stephen Pumple, President & CEO, AZCAR Technologies Incorporated, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Crowther to the newly created position of COO, AZCAR Technologies Incorporated. Bill will be responsible for the day to day operations of the company.Bill brings over twenty-five years of business experience including management, consulting, finance, tax and strategic planning through exposure to a number of industry sectors. Bill served as the CFO of one of Canada’s largest multi-disciplinary architectural firms, BBB/ SCI. BBB/SCI a consulting firm specializing in financial and physical planning, business development, strategic partnerships, negotiation, implementation and project management of sports and entertainment facilities. One of BBB/SCI’s current projects is the major renovation to Madison Square Garden in New York City. Prior to his work with BBB/SCI, Bill was the CFO of Watson & Associates Group of Companies, one of Canada’s largest consultants to the telecommunications industry. Bill spent the initial eighteen years of his career practicing tax, much of it as partner, with BDO Dunwoody. “Our focus on the growth and profitability of the AZCAR business and the need for a seasoned COO, led us to Bill. He has a tremendous background in operations, contract negotiations and is experienced in the international marketplace. All are key qualifications for this very important position as we strive to become pre-eminent in the broadcast and media technologies sector,” said Stephen Pumple.
