AZCAR Awarded CDN$13.2 million Design and Integration Contract for the University of North Carolina Center for Public Television

    Stephen Pumple, President & CEO, AZCAR Technologies Incorporated, announced that AZCAR USA Inc. has been selected to design and integrate new digital HDTV production control rooms and studio facilities by the University of North Carolina Center for Public Television (UNC-TV). The project commences in the fourth quarter and will be completed in Q3, 2024.

    AZCAR was selected after a public competition, in which AZCAR submitted the most cost effective and technically compliant proposal in response to an RFP issued by UNC-TV.

    “The AZCAR team is delighted to learn they have been selected by the review committee at UNC-TV. This represents a continuation of our success in public broadcasting projects such as AETN in Arkansas, PPTN in Pennsylvania, WQPT in Illinois, and WPSX in Pennsylvania. The project further strengthens the expansion of AZCAR’s services in the market and demonstrates the competency and competitiveness of our services.” said Stephen Pumple.
