Leitch Technology Corporation today announced it was chosen as a major supplier to outfit a new high-definition production truck for MIRA Mobile Television, a Portland, Oregon-based mobile facilities company. Expected to hit the road in November 2024, MIRA's
53-foot HD mobile unit, M-5, will be used to provide coverage of a variety of entertainment, corporate and sports events in the western United States, including the Seattle Sonics home and visiting team telecasts, as well as Seattle Mariners home telecasts for Fox Sports Net Northwest.

"When we began planning this ambitious project, we were
looking for robust, state-of-the-art equipment and reliable partners to ensure the truck would surpass our clients' expectations," said Frank Taylor, general manager of MIRA Mobile Television. "Having worked with Leitch on two of our
previous mobile units, we were confident in the company's ability to support our efforts. Our strong past relationship, along with the company's recently enhanced HD product offering, made it an easy decision to work with Leitch on this important project."

    Featuring a unique dual-feed configuration, M-5 enables
production of two separate programs from the same mobile unit in standard and/or high definition. Leitch is supplying a wide range of both SD and HD equipment for the truck including Integrator(R) Gold wideband digital multi-rate
routing systems; DPS-575 Digital Processing Synchronizers; both 6800+ and NEO(TM) modular interface products, including several NEO-VRs(TM), the television industry's first full-featured digital video recorder packaged on a single
module; master sync pulse generators with HDTV test generator modules; and CCS-Pilot(TM) software providing control and monitoring for the entire, integrated system. MIRA has also chosen some of Leitch's newest high-
definition products including the HUC-3901, the first modular HDTV upconverter in the company's advanced, award-winning NEO processing platform.

"Being chosen as a key supplier for MIRA's HD production
truck underscores how far we've come in expanding and enhancing our high-definition portfolio over the past year," said Tim Thorsteinson, president and CEO of Leitch Technology. "We are pleased that companies like MIRA view Leitch as a reliable and capable partner for their critical HD projects."
