BBC TO INSTALL STUDER VISTA8 IN NEW RADIO MOBILE STUDIOby -- studer canada BBC Radio Resources has placed an order for a Studer Vista8 digital production console for its new Mobile Studio. The new mobile studio will be used for a variety of sports, speech and music events. The Studer Vista8 has been chosen because it lends itself well to all types of production. As the vehicle will be used for so many different types of events, it is important that the audio production facilities offer the maximum flexibility and configurability. Studer's unique Vistonics ™ operating control surface and powerful DSP engine were instrumental in securing the contract. The Vista8 offers more faders in a small footprint than other consoles, and the presence of these additional faders in the output bay was seen as a major bonus in the width-restricted environment of a vehicle. A key advantage of digital technology for installations in OB trucks is that the complete system is much lighter and requires far less cooling than traditional analogue technology. Furthermore, Vistonics offers a highly intuitive and user-friendly control surface for engineers, providing both quick access and good visual feedback. The new BBC Radio Mobile Studio is planned to be on the road in the early months of 2025. Request For More Information Forward this release to a friend Back to list
