Toronto - Standard Radio, Canada's largest privately owned multimedia company, has chosen to have all of its radio stations from Montreal to Vancouver use Musicrypt's Digital Media Distribution System (DMDS) exclusively to receive new releases from record companies over the Internet.

"We have always been aggressive in terms of our relationship with the Canadian music industry, particularly in terms of new technology." said President and CEO Gary Slaight. "Musicrypt has developed an excellent tool for radio that makes receiving, evaluating, programming and airing new releases easier and faster, allowing us to better serve listeners across our 51 stations. With all of our stations now using Musicrypt's DMDS system, we have taken another significant step into the future."

Musicrypt Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Peter Diemer said, "Standard Radio was an early supporter of DMDS, participating in our very first trials. Their commitment to deploy DMDS at all of their stations is another vote of confidence in our solution. The majority of Canada's key radio broadcasters are now being serviced via DMDS by major record companies."

Standard Radio is Canada's largest private broadcaster reaching over 6.5 million Canadians weekly.

Musicrypt's Digital Media Distribution System (DMDS) enables user-friendly and secure distribution of media via the Internet. DMDS is a web-based content delivery system that pioneers secure digital file distribution by incorporating biometrics. The first application of DMDS replaces the physical distribution of new musical recordings by record companies from the studio, internally, and to radio stations with more secure, more effective and less costly digital distribution via the Internet. DMDS delivers broadcast quality media from the sender securely and on time to authorized recipients. DMDS delivers the content person-to-person, rather than machine-to-machine.
