  • Today at 6 a.m., current classic hits station 102.3 BOB fm changed to the new 102.3 JACK fm, playing London’s widest variety of popular music from the ‘80s right up to today’s biggest hits.

With five established sister stations in cities across Canada – the successful JACK Rogers Radio brand features hit music from such artists as Maroon 5, Adele, and P!nk, mixed with classic favourites from Queen, The Rolling Stones, and AC/DC.

“Appealing to a broad cross-section of audiences, JACKfm is the only station in London where listeners can hear Van Halen, Madonna, Nirvana, and Bruno Mars all mixed together,” said Mike Collins, General Manager, Rogers Radio – London.

The new station will also feature “JACK’s No Repeat Work Day,” offering listeners no repeats between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.

Audiences will hear favourite on-air hosts Stax and Pete (formerly on 102.3 BOBfm) as they continue to entertain listeners each weekday morning from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on JACK Mornings with Stax and Pete.

Beginning Tuesday, September 2, listeners can win up to $25,000 with JACK’s Big Bag of Cash Contest, played at 7:10 a.m. and 8:10 a.m. with Stax and Pete.

The new station format will also be promoted through an out-of-home external media campaign, and across select Rogers Media properties.
