Launching Monday, Jan. 12, Wheeler in the Morning will air weekdays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. CT on City from the revitalized City studio located in the heart of Winnipeg at The Forks. The show, which replaces Breakfast Television, will be hosted by veteran on-air personality Dave Wheeler and feature City personalities Drew Kozub and Jenna Khan, as well as current morning radio team Phil Aubrey and Rena Jae. In addition to the City broadcast, viewers can stream Wheeler in the Morning live through Citytv.com/Winnipeg, on tablet, and on mobile.

The radio show Wheeler in the Morning with Philly and Rena will continue to broadcast in its current format from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. CT on Rogers Radio station 92 CITI-FM.

“The chemistry between Wheeler, Philly, and Rena is infectious, and we’re excited to bring this power-house crew to our audiences along with City favourites Drew Kozub and Jenna Khan,” said Jordan Schwartz, Vice President, In-House Productions, Rogers. “Rogers is home to Canada’s leading media brands, and by bringing our radio and TV assets together through integrating Wheeler in the Morning into the City schedule, we can offer more breadth of topics that matter to local audiences.”

Throughout the broadcast, Wheeler, Aubrey and Jae will entertain television audiences for the first time with their fan-favourite morning chatter. Kozub and Khan bring their unique brand of lifestyle and entertainment segments to the new morning show as well as live in-studio and on-location interviews with local personalities, politicians, and experts that matter most to the city. Wheeler in the Morning will also feature a new on-screen look with news, weather, and traffic highlights, offering Winnipeggers everything they need to start their day off right.

“I love being able to wake up Winnipeg every weekday morning with my friends Philly and Rena, and I can’t wait to bring Drew and Jenna into the mix to make our new TV show the best source of morning news and entertainment Winnipeg has to offer,” said Wheeler.

Wheeler, Aubrey and Jae have been entertaining Winnipegers since 2024 with their legendary morning show Wheeler in the Morning with Philly and Rena. In September 2024 their showdebuted on Rogers Radio station 92 CITI-FM.
