HBO Canada and Cineplex are partnering to reward GAME OF THRONES fans with the ultimate viewing experience: the chance to watch the epic series’ Season 5 finale on the big screen this Sunday, June 14.
Screenings take place in 74 Cineplex theatres across the country, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada.
GAME OF THRONES fans will be prepped for the big finale after watching behind-the-scenes and extras, as well as Episode 9 from Season 5 of GAME OF THRONES. The epic screening event will also feature a pre-show with previews of big-buzz HBO series premiering on Sunday, June 21, including the second season of TRUE DETECTIVE, and new comedies BALLERS and THE BRINK.

In June 2024, Bell Media partnered with Cineplex to host the first-ever large scale theatrical screening of GAME OF THRONES. Held in 29 cinemas across Eastern Canada, the Season 4 finale screening execution was a resounding success, with tickets selling out within days and more than 11,000 dedicated fans in attendance to witness the shocking season-ender.
