Blue Ant Media’s Makeful Channel Unveils Fall Programming

  • Makeful, a new Blue Ant Media lifestyle specialty channel, will connect with the maker community this fall with its new programming lineup dedicated to crafting and the creation of one-of-a-kind, handmade goods. Featuring passionate, entertaining makers sharing ideas and inspiration, the schedule is set to launch Monday, October 26 with new series such as Jamie’s American Road Trip, Your Home in Their Hands and This Old Thing. Makers and craft-enthusiasts across Canada can watch Makeful’s new series and meet maker community members with its eight-week national free preview event as of October 26.

    Makeful will present a series of original content through its television programming and online, featuring its growing community of makers including Coriander Girl and Melissa Di Renzo. In these short-form videos, Makeful’s makers will share projects and the inspiration for their craft.

    Makeful’s new television lineup will kick off on Monday, October, 26 with the network premiere of Jamie’s American Road Trip which follows the celebrity chef as he discovers the real heart of America, through its people, culture, music and, most importantly, its food. Rounding out Monday’s programming is Rebel Without A Kitchen, iguel’s Feast and 3 Chefs, 1 City.

    Fix It & Finish It and Weekend Reno get Tuesday nights started on October 27, followed by the exclusive network premiere of Your Home in Their Hands, a makeover series in which desperate homeowners hand over their door keys to amateur designers. Renovation King’s exclusive network premiere will offer viewers a look into the daily life of Barry Du Bois and his team as they help people with low budgets and big dreams transform their spaces into a wonderful place to call home.

    Jamie Oliver will continue to inspire foodies with busy schedules with the network premiere of Jamie’s 30 Minute Meals. The half hour series will show audiences how to create great home-cooked meals from scratch, with Jamie’s own unique twist on each element. Next up on Wednesday’s schedule is the exclusive network premiere of This Old Thing. This unique series will follow Dawn O’Porter and her love for vintage clothing and will show fashionistas that wearing clothes from the past can be the way forward.
