  • Blue Ant Media unveiled today highlights of the new series and seasons premiering this fall across specialty channels Cottage Life and T+E.

“From quirky, DIY cottage projects to heart pounding suspense and adventure, Cottage Life and T+E continue to deliver compelling, exclusive series that our passionate audiences will love,” said Jamie Schouela, EVP, Canadian Networks, Blue Ant Media.

    T+E

This Fall, T+E will air the Canadian premiere of new series Natural Born Monsters, on Wednesday, October 28. In this series, travel junkies will follow explorer Sean Duggan’s journey to the far-flung corners of the planet to unearth these strange, rare and dangerous creatures that have all been spawned by weather itself.

New series, What On Earth, premieres Sunday, November 8. The pop science series asks the big questions from the Earth’s orbit. Pictures taken by satellites from space allow experts to answer many questions that previously seemed beyond reach.

On Wednesday, November 18, the Canadian premiere of Big Fish Man follows Jakub Vágner as he travels through the Peruvian Amazon to track down the biggest freshwater fish on earth. He holds the most World Record catches and will chase three different fish in every episode—stopping at nothing to reel them in. Follow him as he dives off boats, paddles against the current, and swims alongside crocodiles, all in an effort to keep his title as Big Fish Man.

T+E will offer subscribers of participating television providers a look at all of its new Fall programming during a nationwide free preview event launching Monday, October 19 for four weeks.

    Cottage Life

On Monday, October 19, Backroad Bounty, a network exclusive, makes its return to Cottage Life. Hosts Marty and Bam Bam are at it once again on the backroads hunting for treasure in our very own cottage country. This new season shares unique back-stories about the items they uncover and the value they hold.

The highly anticipated return of Brojects, a network exclusive, will take place on Thursday, October 22. In Season 3, brothers Kevin and Andrew are returning to their family cottage for even more challenging and quirky DIY building projects aimed at turning the cottage into the ultimate weekend getaway.

Rounding out the schedule is a new Cottage Life network series called Brainstormers premiering on Thursday, October 22. This thrilling new factual and entertainment series follows three backyard geniuses that work on crazy inventions like a beer can turned into a solar heater. These projects generate challenges, setbacks and eventual success along the way.
