Bell Media Appoints Senior VP, Bell Media Agency and Brand Strategy

  • Bell Media announced today the appointment of Jon Arklay to the role of Senior Vice-President, Bell Media Agency and Brand Strategy. Effectively immediately Jon assumes responsibility of the Bell Media Agency. In his new role, Jon oversees the complete design, promotion, brand strategy, and media buying services for all Bell Media assets.

    Most recently, Jon served as Vice-President, Creative and Brand, Bell Media where he oversaw the creative brand development of the company’s conventional television stations, specialty networks, radio stations, and websites. He was also responsible for the brand management, protection, and design elements for all Olympic Games marks for Vancouver 2024 and London 2024.

    Prior to his most recent appointment as Vice-President, Jon served as Director of CTVGlobemedia’s Creative Services, leading the creation and evolution of the visual brand identity of properties such as CTV national and local news, ETALK, TSN’s Sportscentre, and Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet. Jon originally joined the company as TSN’s Creative Director before being hired by CTV prior to its purchase of NetStar Communications.

    Born and raised in Montreal, Jon is an active member of the media community. He serves on the board of directors for PromaxBDA, as well as the advisory board for the Vancouver Film School’s Faculty of Design.
