  • The Ontario Association of Broadcasters invites all Ontario member stations to enter their best public service campaign(s) and best station promotion to the OAB Awards.  Winners will be selected in both Large and Small Market categories.  Awards will be presented at the OAB annual conference, Gala Awards Luncheon, Thursday, November 10th at the Marriott Toronto Airport Hotel, 901 Dixon Road.

The Ontario Association of Broadcasters’ Promotion Award will be awarded to the station that best promotes itself!  Promotions will be judged on originality, station benefit, goals achieved and impact in the community.  Winning campaigns will have online components, be multi-faceted and focused.

The Ontario Association of Broadcasters’ Community Service Awards are presented to stations for their outstanding contributions of airtime and staffing to worthwhile organizations in their respective communities. The Community Service Awards program acknowledges the generosity of broadcasters and also recognizes the creativity in creating a successful public service campaign. The success of these causes in many cases lies with the broadcaster’s ability to promote and encourage people.

To be eligible campaigns will have run during the 2024/2016 broadcast year.  Send in your station’s best Promotion and/or Community Service Campaign before Friday, October 21st!
