ET Canada travels to Alberta to showcase the Canadian stars who are coming together in support of the over 80,000 people displaced by the Fort McMurray wildfire with ET Canada’s Fort McMurray Special Presented by The Brick. Hosted by ET Canada’s Erin Cebula and CMT Canada’s Paul McGuire, the half-hour special, airing Friday, July 1 on Global, features interviews with award-winning Canadian artists performing at the Fire Aid for Fort McMurray benefit concert. ET Canada also sits down with HGTV Canada’s Mike Holmes and country music star Brett Kissel to talk about how they’re bringing awareness to the Fort Mac cause.

Reporting from Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium, Erin sits down with Nickelback, Blue Rodeo front man Jim Cuddy, Dear Rouge, Dallas Smith, and Dean Brody to talk about their involvement in the concert and commitment to raising funds for the Fort McMurray United Way. To help understand the devastation that so many residents have endured, Erin sits down with one of the Fort McMurray families who lost their home in the wildfire. Then, Paul catches up with JUNO Award-winning country music star Brett Kissel following his performance at a pancake breakfast benefiting those affected by the fires in Fort McMurray. ET Canada also speaks with Canada’s Most Trusted Contractor Mike Holmes, who offers advice and support to residents to ensure their rebuild is done right.
