Bell Media Supports Canadian Films Announced for TIFF

  • Bell Media is pleased to announce that 14 films backed by its pay television network The Movie Network, production funds The Harold Greenberg Fund and Fonds Harold Greenberg, and BravoFACT(Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent), have been confirmed as official selections for the 41st annual Toronto International Film Festival, running from September 8 to 18, 2024.

    The Canadian feature films announced by TIFF and supported by Bell Media include April Mullen’s Below Her Mouth, Nathan Morlando’s Mean Dreams, Dilip Mehta’s Mostly Sunny, along with four short films, including Jay Cheel’s Twisted. The films join previously announced Bell Media-supported titles, Maudie Aisling Walsh’s Maudie and Kim Nguyen’s Two Lovers and A Bear.

    The following is the full list of feature films and shorts selected for the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival that have been supported by Bell Media through story optioning, script development, pre-licensing, funding, and/or equity investment:
