AM800’s Morning Show to Broadcast Live from Backseat of Chrysler Pacificia

  • The Morning Drive  gets literal tomorrow,Wednesday, May 11, when host Mike Kakuk, along with AM800’s Leah Hanson, take to the streets to deliver the weekday morning broadcast from the backseat of a brand new Chrysler Pacifica. Kicking off at 5 a.m., the duo are chauffeured by  co-host Lisa Williams as they embark on the ultimate Windsor road trip, with stops at popular local drive-through locations, and an opportunity to test out all of the gadgets the new family hybrid minivan has to offer. AM800 Sports Director Steve Bell will also hop aboard to join Kakuk and Hanson, providing his unique and trusted brand of sports news and analysis.

    “AM800 is the very first media outlet in Canada to experience a Pacifica on Canadian soil,” said Bradley Horn, Product Communications, FCA Canada. “We are proud to create an opportunity to celebrate this locally built vehicle right here in Windsor.”

    From 6-6:30 a.m., ths show  is slated to make a pit stop at the WFCU Centre parking lot, where media and listeners are invited to stop by for a sneak peek of the minivan and to catch the broadcast live.

    The unique mobile broadcast continues as it heads to theFCA Windsor Assembly Plant from 6:30-7 a.m. The crew then makes a stop from 7-8 a.m. at the Caboto Club, Southwestern Ontario’s largest and oldest Italian Club and the premier facility for special events, where Kakuk and Hanson will speak with City of Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens and Matt Marchand, President and CEO of the Windsor Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce.
