The Canadian Press is reporting that Rogers Media has told employees that the company's workforce will be reduced by four per cent, affecting 200 jobs in television, radio, publishing and administration.
Rogers says the cuts are part of efficiency efforts at Rogers Communications.
A memo to Rogers Media staff says the job cuts will begin in February and will conclude as soon as possible.
It didn't immediately identify which indivdual people, programs, publications or locations will be affected.
