CTV and LiveDeal Canada Join Forces For Online Classifieds

LiveDeal Canada together with CTV today announced
they will work together to power a dynamic new local online classified marketplace. As part of the alliance, LiveDeal Canada will offer free
interactive classifieds on CTV's website, CTV.ca, as well as on CTV's local sites in Toronto and Calgary.

Launching today, the online classified marketplace will provide CTV.ca users with a cost-effective, easy-to-use solution for buying and selling goods in local markets across Canada. This includes hard-to-ship items like cars, furniture, electronics, appliances and real estate. The online classified marketplace will give users free basic posting of classified listings, featuring one photo and unlimited text, an email option between buyers and sellers, as well as the ability to post and browse listings both locally and nationally.

"CTV has cultivated a large and loyal community of Web users looking to extend their television experience online," said Mark Sikstrom, Executive
Producer, CTV.ca. "LiveDeal Canada's local marketplaces are a natural fit with CTV's interactive offerings. Adding personalized and locally-focused classified ads will make our sites even more relevant and appealing."

In addition to its proprietary website, LiveDeal.ca also powers the online classified sites of the Toronto Star, The Hamilton Spectator, The
Record, The Guelph Mercury and the Gesca newspaper group.
