RCI adds new shortwave programming

MONTREAL - Starting today, Radio Canada International will be offering a brand new programming lineup for listeners in Florida, Haiti and Cuba.

This bilingual schedule will feature some of the top programs from the Premi�re Cha�ne and Radio One, including "C'est bien meilleur le matin, Le coeur � l'�t�, Sans fronti�res, As It Happens, The World at 6, and Cross Country Checkup", to name but a few.

RCI is also doubling its Spanish and Portuguese language programming for Latin America and Brazil. All in all, RCI will be available 16 hours a day, broadcasting in three-to four-hour blocks on a same shortwave frequency.
