OTTAWA - The Federal Court of Canada decided today that CHOI-FM can remain on the air until an appeal over the decision not to renew its broadcast license is heard.

The three-judge panel said today - and was not opposed by the CRTC - that the controversial station does not have to go off the air the day its license expires, August 31st, while it waits for its appeal of the CRTC decision to get on the court's docket.
