Canadian independent media company Blue Ant Media today announced the forthcoming launch of specialty television channel Cottage Life. The channel is the evolution of popular iconic Canadian magazine Cottage Life.
Cottage Life, the television channel, celebrates the people, places and activities closest to the heart of Canada with new, exclusive programs. Featuring entertaining, informative shows on favourite themes like DIY, food, makeovers and the outdoors.
“Cottage Life has always been a trusted source for engaging weekend living content,” said Al Zikovitz, CEO and President, Cottage Life Media. “It’s a natural evolution to see the brand expand into television, where the depth of our content can continue to flourish. ”
“Cottage Life is a beloved lifestyle brand. The channel will bring the best of what the magazine delivers in every issue to life on TV,” said Vanessa Case, EVP, Programming & Marketing, Blue Ant Media. “This exciting new channel will resonate with viewers coast-to-coast. Cottage Life doesn’t just celebrate a specific place, but a frame of mind."
Fans in the Toronto-area can celebrate the launch at the upcoming Spring Cottage Life Show this April 5-7, 2024 at the International Centre. Visitors to the show will get a chance to learn more about the channel and contribute to the Video Diary. Bring your best cottage photos, kitsch, memories, and stories to share with the Cottage Life team, and you could end up on the channel, in a video on cottagelife.com or in the pages of the magazine. Be ready for your close-up as visitors will also be able to take home a special Cottage Life photo keepsake in the show’s Dock Party area.
For those with a special affinity for the spotlight, producers will be on site at the show to cast for upcoming programs on Cottage Life. For more information on casting opportunities available please visit: http://cottagelife.com/TV.
