CBC Music is happy to announce the addition of the Kids’ CBC music stream to its rocking lineup of free music channels available on cbcmusic.ca. The Kids' CBC channel was made available for preview online on last Tuesday, July 10.
“We are really proud that CBC Music can now offer a great selection of music for families through Kids’ CBC,” said Mark Steinmetz, director of music programming, CBC. “Not only are there some great new songs by contemporary artists, but parents will also be able to take a trip down memory lane and introduce their kids to artists that they themselves grew up listening to.”
The Kids’ CBC stream is geared towards the two to six year old set and offers a continuous, free stream of songs from legendary favourites including Anne Murray, Raffi, Sharon, Lois & Bram and Fred Penner.
Also a part of the mix is a fun selection of family-friendly musical fare from acts like They Might Be Giants, Barenaked Ladies and the late Johnny Cash, plus some Kids’ CBC originals taken from CBC’s award-winning children’s programming.
