  • TSN and the Hockey Hall of Fame announced today they have reached an agreement extending their long-lasting partnership with a new 10-year sponsorship deal. With this new deal, TSN is once again the official TV and radio broadcast partner of the Hockey Hall of Fame through to 2024.

TSN is one of the first three founding sponsors of the Hockey Hall of Fame with a relationship that began in 1993.

As part of the new 10-year agreement:

    · The Hockey Hall of Fame’s new state-of-the-art theatre will be branded as the TSN Theatre. The TSN Theatre will open its doors to the public this week with its first 3D theatrical film: Stanley’s Game Seven.

    · TSN becomes the presenting sponsor for the Hall of Fame NHL Media Awards.

    · TSN holds the broadcast rights to all Hockey Hall of Fame events including the Hockey Hall of Fame Inductee Announcement, the Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and the annual Hockey Hall of Fame Legends Classic.

“While we like to say at TSN that ‘hockey lives here’, there’s not a doubt that hockey’s home is at the Hockey Hall of Fame. We are absolutely thrilled to extend our long partnership with this institution so renowned for celebrating excellence in a game cherished by Canadians across the country,” said Stewart Johnston, President of TSN. “We are looking forward to having millions of hockey fans visit the new TSN Theatre and to working with the Hall of Fame on many new initiatives over the next 10 years.”

“Hockey Hall of Fame’s growth, development and on-going success is built on strong corporate partnerships. One of the first three founding sponsors to pledge financial and promotional support to the Hockey Hall of Fame relocation and expansion project in 1993, and recently renewed for a further 10 years, is TSN,” said Bill Hay, Chairman and CEO, Hockey Hall of Fame. “We are excited about our renewed partnership and the new TSN Theatre, which promises to be an integral entertainment hub here at the Hockey Hall of Fame for many years to come. We thank TSN for their unwavering commitment and HHOF’s mandate to preserve and promote the history of our great game.”
