Groupe Média TFO’s educational content makes its debut on Air Canada, Via Rail and Air Transat screens, enriching French-language video options for traveling viewers of all ages.
“We have identified a growing demand for our content across Canada’s Francophonie,” said Julie Gauvin, Chief development and Innovation Officer. “We want to meet this demand by bringing a selection of our award-winning content to broadcasting partners such as Via Rail, Air Canada and Air Transat.”
Via Rail passengers already have access to educational Mini TFO content, aimed at children aged two to six. The Mini TFO universe is a range of fun, educational content carefully selected for preschool kids. Mini is a home-grown Groupe Média TFO production that provides an interactive kindergarten experience for children, and also offers short-length entertainment capsules, including games and applications.
Now, in addition to Mini TFO, other lines of TFO content will be available in the onboard entertainment systems, including BRBR, the music franchise that spotlights emerging Francophone talent with a host of performances, interviews and reviews; Carte de visite, a longform series featuring in-depth interviews with great Francophone figures; and FLIP TFO, a fun-filled production aimed at a young audience from 13 to 17 years old.
Since November 1, 2024, Mini TFO content has also been available on Air Canada planes. On January 4, 2024, the agreement to bring it to Air Transat screens was confirmed. Passengers will also be able to enjoy BRBR content during their flights.
