ScoreMobile iPhone Service Launches in Canada

  • It’s called North America’s most popular sports Web application for the iPhone* and it’s now available in Canada.

    With the official launch of the Apple iPhone 3G
    in Canada, users here will be able to access ScoreMobile iPhone Edition from anywhere cellular service is available.

    Volkswagen Canada has signed on as the official
    Canadian launch partner of Score Mobile iPhone Edition.

    Score Mobile iPhone Edition is a free Web application that can be accessed with an iPhone or iPod touch. Taking advantage of the
    unique touch screen interface, the application allows fans to get up-to-the-minute scores and odds along with standings, game previews
    and real-time boxscores for MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA, CFL and NCAA Football and Basketball.

    ScoreMobile iPhone Edition is called the first iPhone-optimized Web application to be launched by a mainstream sports media company in North America.

    “Since its launch in the United States last fall, Score Mobile iPhone Edition has developed a very strong following,” said Benjamin Levy,
