With highly anticipated, nail-biting thrillers, an injection of sci-fi and fantasy, and laugh-out-loud sitcoms starring some of TV’s most beloved stars, Global’s fall line-up will transport viewers to new worlds with a number of familiar faces. Leading the charge is the most-buzzed-about show of the fall season The Blacklist, starring James Spader and Megan Boone. Other dramatic series new to the Global roster include the re-boot of Ironside starring Blair Underwood, the period drama Dracula starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, the re-imagining of the classic tale Sleepy Hollow, and Almost Human from producer J.J. Abrams.
Comedies abound on the Global schedule. Michael J. Fox makes his long-awaited return to network television with The Michael J. Fox Show, a show inspired by his personal life. The Millers, starring Will Arnett, Beau Bridges and Margo Martindale, Sean Saves the World starring Sean Hayes, We Are Men, starring Jerry O’Donnell, Tony Shalhoub, and Kal Penn, and Welcome to the Family, staring Ricardo Chavira and Mike O’Malley, round out the schedule.
Not for the faint-hearted, TV’s hottest drama Chicago Fire returns alongside last season’s #1 new series Elementary. Other favourites returning to the Global schedule include Glee, Bones, Hawaii Five-0, Survivor, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Parenthood and The Good Wife.
