CTV Calgary has been nominated for four RTDNA Awards in the Prairie Region. The RTDNA Canada Awards honour the best journalists, programs, stations and organizations in radio, television and digital newsgathering.
“At a time of unprecedented challenges to our industry, it is now more important than ever to recognize the very best in Canadian electronic and digital journalism,” said RTDNA Canada President Ian Koenigsfest in a statement on the RTDNA website. “These prestigious awards allow us to put aside our competitive energies for an evening and celebrate the very best in Canadian journalism.”
CTV Calgary has been nominated in the following categories in the Prairie Region:
*Calgary.ctvnews.ca Digital Media Award – Large Market
*CTV Calgary Bert Cannnigs Award (Large Market) – Best Newscast
*CTV Calgary Charlie Edwards Award – Spot News
*CTV Calgary Gord Sinclair Award – Live Special Events
CTV Lethbridge was also nominated for a Bert Cannings Award in the Small Market category for Best Newscast.
