At 9:53 a.m. today, Corus Radio Hamilton launched its newest radio station, The New 953 Fresh FM, bringing today’s freshest music and the best hits from yesterday to Hamilton audiences.
The New 95.3 Fresh FM will feature number one tracks from listener favourites such as Pink, Maroon 5, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars as well as fresh favourites from Bon Jovi, Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson and Train. Darrin Laidman and Colleen Rusholme will continue to host morning drive.
“We are very excited to bring this successful Fresh format to our Hamilton listeners,” said Suzanne Carpenter, General Manager, Corus Radio Toronto and Hamilton. “There is an appetite for this format which is currently underserved in Hamilton and we are certain that The New 953 Fresh FM will resonate with our listeners.”
Corus Radio Hamilton includes news-talk heritage station AM 900 CHML, Y108 and now The New 953 Fresh FM.
