  • Canwest creative departments continue to shine as its national and local marketing teams were recognized at the 2024 PROMAX & BDA Awards.

Held last night in New York City, the awards honour international marketing and design achievement in broadcasting.

Canwest received a total of 41 awards, including 12 Gold, 12 Silver and 17 Bronze medals across its conventional and specialty networks.

Promax also honoured Kathy Dore, President of Canwest Broadcasting, naming her as a Brand Builder for 2024. The award honours executives who have been integral to the positioning and growth of their companies. This marks the first time a Canadian broadcasting executive has received this accolade.

The medals call attention to Canwest’s focus on creativity, originality and innovative thinking in all its marketing efforts, including its newly acquired specialty channels.

“We are extremely proud of this achievement, which is a testament to the talented and creative teams we have assembled across Canada,” said Walter Levitt, Chief Marketing Officer, Canwest Broadcasting. “This recognition from our industry peers underscores that our newly expanded Canwest family is well-recognized as a creative force internationally.”

Entries for the awards are received internationally and judged on their overall creativity, production quality and results in achieving marketing objectives. The gold medals awarded to Canwest are as follows ¿ for a complete list of the 2024 PROMAX & BDA winners, visit www.promax.tv
