  • The Ontario Association of Broadcasters invites broadcasters to submit their application for Broadcast Order of Achievement.   The Broadcast Order of Achievement recognizes tenure in broadcasting; Bronze for 10-14 years of service, Silver for 15-24 years of service and Gold for 25+ years of service.  Persons wishing to be recognized for their tenure in broadcasting may do so by applying on-line.

Applicants attending the conference will be invited to accept their certificates during the OAB Gala Awards.  Also presented during the Awards are the Ontario Hall of Fame, the Community Service and new Promotion Awards.  The Ontario Hall of Fame Award is a Board nominated honour presented to individuals who spent most of their careers working for private broadcasters and have demonstrated a commitment to the highest standards of broadcast excellence.

This year the OAB is proud to announce the 2024 Ontario Hall of Fame Award will be presented to Chuck McCoy.  Over the span of his career, Chuck has crossed Canada to work as an on-air personality, program director, broadcast consultant, and has held various executive positions.  Chuck currently operates his own consulting company, Chuck McCoy International Media Services.
